
There are numerous minstries available to our members to serve. Upon completion of "CLASS 301 - Discovering My Ministry", members are eligible to participate in ministry according to their areas of giftedness. Ministries at Greater Shiloh are divided into the following five purposes:
Discipleship
Discipleship is one of the five purposes under which our church is governed. Discipleship means to become a mature believer of Christ that is marked by "cross-bearing" (whatever it takes to give Christ first place in your life). As taught in CLASS 201 - Discovering Spiritual Maturity, four habits of discipleship are:
Evangelism
Evangelism is another one of the five purposes under which our church is governed. Evangelism is sharing the good news of Christ with the world.
Fellowship
Fellowship is another of the five purposes under which our church is governed. Fellowship is defined as participating in God's family. Fellowship is so important for the following reasons:
Ministry
Ministry is another one of the five purposes under which our church is governed. Ministry is using whatever God has given me to serve him and the needs of others. At Greater Shiloh we minister to people's physical needs, people's emotional needs, and people's spiritual needs. We should make ministry a priority for the following reasons:
Worship
Worship is another of the five purposes under which our church is governed. God loved us so much that he gave his only son to die for us. Worship is our way of loving God back.
